What’s going on ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! That’s right, it’s a me, your boy MadZen with a BRAND NEW single for all of you my beautiful readers from around the globe. Following the release of my EP “El Mestizo”, which you guys were so kind to fill with love, now comes a tune that was meant to be in such EP, but never made it into the tracks list. Let’s get to it!
You might know that I love to experiment with different genres just for the fun of it. So far my sound has evolved into a more electronica-inspired soundscape, without losing the organic sounds that influenced me in the first place. “El Mexicano” is an experiment (a very successful one for me), in which I blended these two genres I’d never thought I’d be doing: Techno and Trap.

The result is a very wild and very exciting tune filled with sudden hits and twists that will keep you on your toes. Trap chants, Industrial synths, Electronica ambiences, and rhythms. You name it! This track has it. So I proudly present it to you. As mentioned above, this single was originally supposed to be inside El Mestizo but, in the end, I decided to let it shine by itself. In my mind, it didn’t quite fit in with the rest of the EP, so why not give it a spotlight of its own?
It’s called “El Mexicano” because the energy it irradiates reminds me of the Mexican spirit, and of course, the trumpets add a lot to the Latin vibe. Joy, celebration, love, and an unbreakable spirit are what defines us the most.
