LUMP200 new dance of chaotic elements “CEX”

German producer LUMP200 continues to break the limits of experimentation with his latest single “Cex”. An avant-garde performance of cut-up beats and eerie synths. The last single before his upcoming album drops. Listen now!

Hello, hello my beautiful readers! Welcome back, it’s ya boy MadZen and today we have a very interesting track yet again by one of the craziest and most authentic producers out there. A strange musical production where vibraphone (played by Els Vandeweyer) and drums fight against each other in a very singular dance.

LUMP200, for those who don’t know, is a Berlin-based music producer whose music lies mostly in the experimental side of things. A multi-instrumentalist best known for creating complex and cinematic landscapes where digital and organic elements meet. So far he has released two singles Kryptomarch and I Am The Elephant In The Room in preparation for his upcoming album “Isles of You”.

“Cex” is going to be released on the streaming platforms on April 28th, save the date, and is the third and last release of the album, as “Isles of You” will hit platforms on May 12th. The new single is a peculiar dance of chaotic elements: drums, bass, synths, and even field recordings with strange vocals that deliver an almost menacing vibe. Words are not easy to come by when trying to analyze this kind of production, as they become quite subjective to the listener’s ear (and mind).

In any case, René Desalmand (LUMP200) continues to stand out with his crazy imagination and odd musical approach. He has also been working on a digital platform where people can join, record and publish their own audio contributions. This is the artist’s way to support participation, co-creation, and crowd recording.

All published takes can be arranged and edited on the matrix – a variety of versions can co-exist and be shared. The beta version of islesofyou is already online. In this first version users can embed their voices into reduced Lump200 tracks and projects. The app will be updated step by step until any user can upload and curate their own projects and initiate a variety of co- and crowd-creations.

Don’t forget to support this project and follow Lump200 on Instagram, Twitter, SoundCloud, YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify. You can also visit his official website. If you enjoy their music and are able to provide monetary support, you might consider downloading it on Bandcamp.
