Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back! It’s your boy once again, MadZen, with a brand new single. This one is very special to me because it’s being released by Cafe de Anatolia, a label considered to be one of the pioneers of the genre and one of the most respected and recognized worldwide. So, yes, I’m excited. Let’s get it!
This has been a busy year for me so far. Since January I’ve released two singles; “Ka Me Yo” and “El Mexicano“; as well as my EP “El Mestizo” which many of you seemed to love (thank you). Now, I return with another instrumental track with a certain kind of depth to it. I wanted to create something that would make you wanna dance as well as enter a meditative trance.
The result was a Downtempo track with lots of organic elements, and soft & lush pads that keep waving across the beat. After finishing it, it kinda made me feel like walking across beautiful plains, surrounded by huge mountains. Hence the title “Llanuras” which means plains. The kick is deep and punchy, the bass is round and low, and percussive elements from across the world add a lot of groove and rhythm to the track.
This is my fourth release this year, and I promise I’ll keep releasing until the end of the year. I have some very interesting tracks prepared for you and I would appreciate it A LOT if you join me in this journey. In the meanwhile, listen to “Llanuras” now!
