ALL ALBUMS/EPS (EXCEPT THE ALBUM OF THE WEEK) SUBMITTED AND

DISCOVERED VIA MUSOSOUP

1.- Solar Soundz & DJ Flipcyide deliver a disruptive album in “Fantastic Beats And Where To Find Them”. A hip-hop album filled with chill, laid-down beats with strong vocal commentaries from different movies and interviews that challenge social media, the matrix, and the powers that be. You can read our review here.

2.- Alec Berlin in his own words: “Space Punk is the 12th and final release from my full album “Space Punk and Other Junk”. Think electric guitars that somehow sound vintage and futuristic all at once. It’s a high-energy romp that grabs you from the first beat. 3.- The Czech-born singer-songwriter Yana has a fully Irish heart beating within, which translates into her delicate folk music. Her fascination for meaningful lyrics and ear for beautiful instrumentation has previously been featured on the blog via the singles “The Traveller” and “Reach Out“. This month she is ready to reveal her debut full-length “Journey of the Soul”, a release that pays homage to her endless love for folk music and all her dear friends. You can keep reading our review here.

4.- The Essex-based singer-songwriter S J Denney is in a roll. Just released a new EP called “These Things Happen”. This colorful release brings in a slew of influences, both musical and life-inspired, and it starts off with a chill acoustic song “The Keeper”. You can keep reading this review here.

5.-To Crash And Burn is The Alaska Trap’s debut EP. The band are an up-and-coming alternative/indie rock trio from London who sold out their second show and are on the verge of selling out The Camden Assembly. To Crash And Burn consists of 5 tracks that are honest, vulnerable, and contain the energy that embodies the sound that has started the band’s journey.

6.- Evil Sweet debut EP “Queen Victoria” evokes a different shade of love at various stages in a relationship. Opening track “Something” is about the infatuation you feel on a first date and the start of the honeymoon phase, and captures the indescribable feeling that the spark you feel is going somewhere. “Queen Victoria” is an upbeat song describing the first time you met the girl you’re falling for, and shows the desire to get to know her further. “Out of Nowhere” captures the emotions you feel when you realize that this is real love.

Musically, the tone changes drastically from the moody verse to the bright chorus to demonstrate the gradual acceptance. “How to Love You” represents the anxiety you feel after your love really starts to get serious. Constantly second-guessing your choices and deciding if this is really what you want for the rest of your life. The closing track “Long Live the Queen” portrays love as a fairytale, with our narrator fantasizing about forever, the good parts and the bad.

7.- Black Mountian Tabernacle debut EP. In their own words: “We are a newly formed band, forming from the ashes of our old band Stonecabin. We are focused on recording more songs from our extensive list. These songs are a taster of whats to come, stripped-down American music telling stories of love, loss, longing, and death with blinding glints of sunshine blazing through. This is our first release of mainly tracks recorded live in the studio. They are the first parts of several storylines which we will finish telling in subsequent recordings.”

8.- This is the 3rd release from A.Wake, called “The Seed Root Chakra Remix EP” and is a 3-track EP plus radio remix edit of The Seed remixes, are embedded with a root chakra balancing frequency, that can help you to stabilize your material world, earn money, find your life purpose, and feel grounded and connected to others. It should help you to stay focused and present.

9.- Stella Webb’s debut EP “Cowgirl, Blue” in her own words: “I am very excited as I wanted to create this concept EP as a time capsule for my first 6 months in LA, reckoning with lots of feelings, a lot of them sad. Super far from home, I have been writing much deeper and more personal songs than ever, and this EP is, as a result, deeply personal, the lyrical content should speak for itself in this regard. I produced two of the songs by myself and co-produced the other two. Having been trained in classical piano since the age of 5, this EP is my foray into Guitars and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
