Exzenya keeps growing as an indie artist with a knack for genre-fluid sound with cinematic touch. Her newest release shows both her vocal strengths as well as an ability to turn dark and highly uncomfortable themes into songs, that offer a deep, truthful look into the topic at hand.

A tone of nostalgia is present throughout the song’s retro-infused melodies, as is the feeling of slight disbelief and astonishment at the beginning. And then, absolute celebration driven by the steady indie rock beat and Fiona Amaka’s flowing voice.
