This track mixes melodious, clean vocals with amazing/nasty riffs. “Dystopia” is brutal and beautiful, all at the same time. LISTEN NOW!
Hello my friends! Good morning, good evening, or good night wherever you are. It’s your boy MadZen and today we will continue with the flow of brand-new music. This time is the turn of Toledo-based Alt-Rock/Metal trio, The Infinity Process, who return with a powerful single filled with scorching riffs and amazing drums.
In case you don’t remember, The Infinity Process debuted in our blog with their single Sinister, later followed by Losing Reality. This band has influences from Metal and Alt-Rock bands like Deftones, Helmet, Thrice, Muse, and Tool; they show such influences with a nice, solid metal foundation supported by Evanescence-like vocals.
In “Dystopia“, the band shows their most metal side yet with an explosive arrangement of fierce, high-gain guitars and a drum playing that knocks it out of the park. Of course, the beautiful vocals finish to bring equilibrium to the track, creating a familiar mix that is easy to love and understand.
Tired of the world’s chaotic embrace, The Infinity Process created this track as a way to expel all negativity and anger out of their system. For vocalist Kimberly Tingley, music is about expression, and a great creative outlet for you to react to the world around you. So, you can expect a violent release of energy; a statement of power and the conviction to be free yourself.
“Sometimes it’s hard to just function and find any happiness when you are constantly stressing and thinking about any difficult things you’re dealing with emotionally or physically. The world is a mess, and it’s easy to get caught up in all of the anger, fear, and sadness. Once in a while, you need to let go and clear your mind of all negative thoughts. Stare into the sky and drift away for a bit. Reset your body. Just be free.” – Kimberly Tingley

This is one of TIP’s last single releases of the year, but they will continue to write new music as inspiration hits them. They will also give their last show of the year in November 11th in Toledo Ohio at a venue called Prime, so, if you’re around, go give them a listen! That’s it from me guys, see you on the next one!
