In less than two years, The Margaret Hooligans have been able to release no less than 37 songs! They released on July 17th their third album: “Saturday Night in Bartertown”, and it includes past releases and hits like “Doggie Pizza Crust”, “Hey Love”, “The Lost Stilt Walkers”, “Witch on the Corner”, and “What Kind of Donut Are You?”.
Of course, the album brings new songs to the table. Songs like “I Won’t Speed Up, You Won’t Slow Down”. As you might assume, the song is about trouble in a relationship, trying to find a middle ground. As always, Meg and Mr. Strontium team up perfectly to create a Rock N Roll experience with their signature drum fills and unorthodox ukulele riffs!
The track is of a more epic nature than past releases. More vocal overdubs, more drumming showmanship. It is a wild track and a perfect single to introduce you to Saturday Night in Bartertown. You’ve heard the “classics”, now is the time for a new experience!
Brand new tracks like “My Dog Ringo”, “New Speedway Boogie” and “Say What You Want (Trousers of the Holy)” are also present on the album, with the second one being a Grateful Dead cover! So waste no time and go ahead, and hit that play button.
