I AM THE UNICORN HEAD – “FUTURE DINOSAURS” (ALBUM)

I wanna make special mention of opening/closing tracks "Future Dinosaurs" and "Future Dinosaurs (reprise)", as their acoustic style and short duration very much remind me of Pink Floyd's album "Animals", and I believe that to be a very nice touch. Also, honorable mention to the track "I Fear God (is leaving tonight)", as its tribal drums-extravaganza mixed with female chants also brings me back to Pink Floyd's "The Dark Side of The Moon"! Ellery Twining “Revenge”

"Revenge", released on January 17th, is an acoustic rock album housing 9 songs. The release strikes with an easy and rather stripped-back feel, especially in the first song "A Month of Sundays", which begins with acoustic guitar and his mostly spoken vocals, speaking about a divorce through the eyes of a child. The honest, curious and confused thoughts have been put into lyrics in such an endearingly simple way, whilst also making sure to hit straight in the feels.

Beatdenker “Too Tall To Dance”

"The main focus always was music from South India, their unbelievable knowledge and abilities about complex rhythms and improvisational skills, then the crazy super complex rhythms in the New Complexity stream within the so called New Music, a quite intellectual dealing with rhythm, stuff you can hardly imagine and in the end the improvisational aspects of so called Jazz music and its open attitude how to handle determined material."
