JACK WAKEMAN AND THE DREAMSTRIDERS – VISIONS

"Visions is a song of apocalyptic optimism, written as a reaction to the yearning for a better life caused by social isolation, anxieties and uncertainty about the future. Written by Jack during a personal identity crisis, realising that things in his life could be better than they were. As well as being a personal song, the message of Visions goes beyond the individual and echoes out to a wider picture of needing societal change.

THE MOOD – DAISYPICKER

The Mood's songwriter, Dan, was inspired to write Daisypicker after going through a sticky patch in his relationship with his girlfriend during the summer months of last year. "We would often argue over silly things such as not answering the phone, which is referred to in the second verse". But the conflict is resolved in the final chorus of the song, as Dan states that they'd often resolve their arguments by picking daisies for each other and being sarcastically romantic with one another.
