'Slide' is about the search for meaning, our origins and our destinies. Topics that occupy us all every day. But it goes one step further and describes the feeling of losing sight of the essential in this process. Suddenly thoughts become a load and you carry a burden with you.
"Visions is a song of apocalyptic optimism, written as a reaction to the yearning for a better life caused by social isolation, anxieties and uncertainty about the future. Written by Jack during a personal identity crisis, realising that things in his life could be better than they were. As well as being a personal song, the message of Visions goes beyond the individual and echoes out to a wider picture of needing societal change.
The Mood's songwriter, Dan, was inspired to write Daisypicker after going through a sticky patch in his relationship with his girlfriend during the summer months of last year. “Cassandra has a soulful voice and a wide range of vocal capabilities. Here, she uses subtle, smooth vocals to lure us into her world and later, we experience the true depth of her emotions as her voice becomes more passionate and powerful. “

"Most bands, regardless of how atypical they strive to be, fit neatly into boxes. Most bands, regardless of how different they think they are, still have a rigid creative process. And most bands, regardless of what they tell you, see stardom as an end goal. For Yammerer, none of these things apply".
