  • Salt House Lavish cosmic new track “Staring Off Into Space”

Salt House Lavish cosmic new track “Staring Off Into Space”

Chef by profession Salt House Lavish, it’s probably not even surprising to learn Andrew created this tasteful single in his kitchen, in the middle of mics and wires. The artist has definitely got a knack on how to put together very different pieces, offering an evolving beat-driven experience that please those craving for something new…

  • B of Briz – “What Would Buffy Do?”

B of Briz – “What Would Buffy Do?”

‘What Would Buffy Do?’ is about how understanding the contours of someone else’s life, understanding their struggle to live a good life, can be really useful, even if that person is fictional! It’s particularly about how these ‘exemplars’ are important when the stories of people in your group- in this case women – are not…

    Havoc Osiris “Evolutions”

“I always felt like some, we get so consumed with everything that we haven’t done, to the point that we prevent ourselves from appreciating the ways we actually have grown as people—evolved, if you will. I’ve done that countless times actually, and it wasn’t until the fall of 2021 that I really started to reflect…

  • The Velvet Shadow “Dreamlines”

    The Velvet Shadow “Dreamlines”

Lone nighttime, followed by equally lonely daytime with an unusual quantity of stillness that felt new back when it all started, and still feels alien now. In the middle of this altered universe resides an artist named The Velvet Shadow, and he has taken the still ambience around him, combined it with the thoughts of…

    Michael Donoghue “Calm Palm EP”

“Last year I hit a bit of a creative wall where I was struggling to find inspiration and fresh ideas. There are some palm trees at the bottom of my garden that I see everyday, so I sat in my studio space one morning and decided to just start composing a track about the palm…

THE QWARKS FUN & CATCHY “DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK”

“The song is a stream of consciousness, the words poured out in a ten-minute reverie in a whirl wind of British garden-based psychedelia.” The Qwarks

    Odonian Drifts – “Retroactive Enchantment”

“It seemed fitting to combine a psychedelic-tinted lyricism, hints of anthemic uplift, and darker reflections on spaces riven by spiritual dereliction.” – Ian Rowley

  • GrayBeat – “Levitron (ft. Wayne Sayres)”

GrayBeat – “Levitron (ft. Wayne Sayres)”

I had this song sitting around. It reminded me of the feeling of being in a tractor beam, levitating weightless. I knew it had sort of a synthwave sound to it, and it had a downtempo retro feel as well. I thought it would be a good fit, so I composed about eight layers of…

  • THE QWARKS CRAZY NEW SINGLE “THRONE OF YOUR GRACE”

THE QWARKS CRAZY NEW SINGLE “THRONE OF YOUR GRACE”

“Throne Of Your Grace” is all about imagination. A story that many bands might be able to relate to. It tells the imaginary story about an imaginary band in an imaginary town, trying to get an imaginary gig by courting an imaginary local impresario who is an extremely important person in the town.
